ALOURA CHARLES writer/director/mom
Aloura Charles, WGA, has written and directed numerous shorts, two comedy web series and two feature films, winning awards at film festivals.
She is currently developing episodic projects with Roddenberry Entertainment, and an animated feature film based on THE GOLDEN SNAIL by Graeme Base. Aloura wrote UNDER after her son was born and she was struggling with postpartum depression. She has found support by building a solid ‘mom tribe’ including Jessica Mathews.

Jessica's television credits include the Food Network, Lifetime, A&E, MTV, GSN, Starz, E!, VH1, and Freeform. Her list of feature films include Marfa Girl, Triangle, Holding Back, The Last Treasure Hunt, and Vanished. Jessica is President of Neo Ensemble Theatre, a member of the PGA, the Television Academy, and SAG-AFTRA.

Maedeh Moayyednia is the 2023 Fellowship Award Recipient for the American Cinema Editor’s Guild. She has edited short films, music videos, documentaries and worked in TV and features as an assistant editor. Born and raised in Iran, she came to the United States as a religious refugee and relates to stories of women facing impossible circumstances. Having witnessed her sister's pregnancies, she is passionate about collaborating on stories that challenge the existing perception of postpartum depression and motherhood.
